KOSPI 200 Closes with Significant Declines Across Multiple Companies

Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index witnessed a downturn as several major companies reported declines in their stock prices. The closing figures indicated a challenging day for the market, with notable decreases recorded across various sectors.

According to Yonhap News Agency, SK Innovation saw a drop of 4,000, closing at 110,300. Hanchem's stock decreased by 8,000, finishing at 283,500. DWS also faced a decline of 600, closing at 25,200. KEPCO's shares fell by 1,650, ending the day at 48,300, while SamsungSecu reported a decrease of 2,900, closing at 98,600.

POSCO DX and HankukCarbon both experienced declines, with drops of 500 and 400 respectively. COWAY's stock decreased by 2,000, closing at 73,000. SKTelecom and Hyundai Elevator also saw declines of 3,000 and 1,100 respectively, with closing prices of 78,200 and 87,400.

HS HYOSUNG ADVANCED and HYOSUNG TNC reported significant decreases of 7,000 and 6,000 respectively. Meanwhile, DL E and C, KakaoBank, and LIG Nex1 were among the few companies reporting gains, with increases of 300, 150, and 13,000 respectively.

The market's overall performance reflected a challenging environment for many companies, with declines prominently observed in technology, financial, and industrial sectors.
