SEOUL — The KOSPI 200 index witnessed a mix of ups and downs among its listed companies at the close of trading. Notable movements included significant gains for major corporations alongside some downturns.
According to Yonhap News Agency, Hanjin KAL led the gains with its stock price rising by 1,300 points to close at 65,000. Other significant gains were observed in Hanmi Pharm and SD Biosensor, which went up by 5,000 and 500 points respectively. Meanwhile, on the downside, Samsung Biologics and HD Hyundai Electric saw declines in their stock prices by 10,000 and 3,000 points respectively.
Noteworthy movements were also recorded by Doosan, which soared by 13,500 points, and DL, which increased by 1,700 points, indicating a day of robust trading activity and considerable fluctuations across various sectors of the market.
