Seoul: The latest trading session on the KOSPI 200 saw varied movements in stock prices, with some companies experiencing gains while others saw declines. Among the companies that saw an increase in their stock prices were Kiwoom, which rose by 2,700 to close at 133,400, and Hanwha Ocean, which increased by 1,900 to reach 70,400.
According to Yonhap News Agency, HD Hyundai Infracore experienced a decrease, with its stock price dropping by 630 to close at 8,720. Other companies that saw declines included HanmiSemi, with a decrease of 200, closing at 85,000, and DWEC, which fell by 20 to 3,270.
In contrast, LG H and H gained 2,000, closing at 325,000, while LGCHEM saw a significant increase of 12,500, closing at 272,000. Hyundai Rotem also recorded an increase, with its stock rising by 500 to end at 106,000.
Despite some companies experiencing gains, several others faced declines. ShinhanGroup's stock price fell by 450, closing at 48,500, and KEPCO E and C saw a decrease of 600, ending the session at 60,300. Meanwhile, Celltrion's stock decreased by 600, closing at 185,400.
The trading session also saw improvements for companies such as Hyundai Glovis, which rose by 900 to close at 128,000, and SK Innovation, which increased by 1,900 to 126,000. Poongsan experienced a notable gain of 4,400, closing at 67,900.
However, some companies like HanmiPharm and Amorepacific experienced declines, with HanmiPharm dropping by 1,000 to close at 243,000, and Amorepacific falling by 2,100 to end at 106,700. Youngone Corp also saw a decrease of 1,000, finishing at 50,100.
Overall, the KOSPI 200's closing prices highlighted the mixed performance of stocks, reflecting the dynamic nature of the market.
