The KOSPI 200 index exhibited a mix of gains and declines as the trading session concluded, highlighting varied performances among major companies. Noteworthy increases were observed in several sectors, while some companies faced declines.
According to Yonhap News Agency, Samsung Securities saw a significant rise, closing at 111,800, up by 2,400. Similarly, LOTTE Shopping experienced a notable increase, ending the session at 121,800, up by 3,100. SK also showed substantial growth with a closing price of 396,500, up by 15,000. Doosan Enerbility recorded a gain, closing at 122,600, up by 6,700. NAVER and SAMSUNG LIFE also saw increases, closing at 217,500 and 255,500, up by 3,500 and 8,000 respectively.
Conversely, several companies faced declines. DWS closed at 27,100, down by 450, while SK Telecom ended at 98,800, down by 1,500. KEPCO's share price dropped to 46,200, marking a decrease of 150. LIG Defense and Aerospace reported a significant decl ine, closing at 966,000, down by 54,000. NC and L and F also experienced declines, closing at 271,000 and 189,100, down by 4,000 and 5,600 respectively.
Other companies such as KT and G and Youngone Corp remained unchanged. SD Biosensor also maintained a steady closing price at 8,550. The mixed results reflect the dynamic nature of the market and the varying performances of companies within the KOSPI 200 index.
