KOSPI 200 Closing Prices Show Mixed Trends

Seoul:The KOSPI 200 index featured a variety of movements with several companies experiencing gains and losses. Notable changes in stock prices were observed across different sectors.

According to Yonhap News Agency, DWS saw a decrease of 450, closing at 21,650, while CJ Logistics gained 400, closing at 70,300. Doosan experienced a significant drop of 69,000, ending at 1,399,000, whereas DL closed lower by 200 at 49,250. Hankook and Company increased by 250, reaching 25,550, and Kia Corp. declined by 3,000 to finish at 109,600.

Other companies such as Hitejinro and Samsung Securities showed positive movements, closing at 14,860 (up 70) and 89,400 (up 300) respectively. Conversely, SK Telecom and Hyundai Elevator saw decreases, closing at 87,400 (down 1,000) and 72,000 (down 1,300).

Among the notable declines were Samsung SDS, Korea Aerospace, and SK, with Samsung SDS dropping by 12,500 to 207,000, Korea Aerospace falling by 7,400 to 121,800, and SK decreasing by 6,000 to 580,000. Meanwhile, LG Display and Samsung Life also recorded declines, closing at 8,250 (down 320) and 281,000 (down 4,000) respectively.

On the positive side, companies like Coway and Hanwha M and S saw increases, closing at 102,200 (up 1,400) and 6,010 (up 320). LOTTE Wellfood and KT and G also ended higher, with LOTTE Wellfood up 3,000 to 122,700 and KT and G rising by 3,200 to 179,600.

Overall, the closing prices of stocks in the KOSPI 200 index reflected a diverse range of movements, indicating varied investor sentiment in different sectors.
