Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index experienced a significant downtrend in its recent trading session, witnessing declines across various major stocks. Among the key stocks, KT and G saw a decrease of 3,100 to close at 167,400, while Doosan Enerbility fell by 6,700, ending at 81,100. LG Display's stock dropped by 730, closing at 11,370, and Paradise experienced a decline of 660, reaching 12,410. Meanwhile, Kangwonland saw a minor dip of 30, closing at 14,130.
According to Yonhap News Agency, NAVER's stock fell by 3,300, ending at 196,400, and Kakao's stock decreased by 1,100 to close at 33,150. On a positive note, NC was an exception, with its stock rising by 3,500 to reach 238,000. However, Hanwha Ocean and HANMISemi faced declines of 7,600 and 15,500, closing at 98,000 and 257,500, respectively.
DWEC dropped by 1,670, ending at 18,190, while KEPCO KPS and LG H and H saw declines of 1,300 and 9,000, closing at 43,950 and 215,000, respectively. LGCHEM's stock fell by 14,500, ending at 271,000, and KEPCO E and C saw a decrease of 6,700, closing at 99,900. ShinhanGroup and HYUNDAI ROTEM experienced declines of 2,900 and 13,200, closing at 91,600 and 169,800, respectively.
LG CNS ended at 75,100, down by 3,200, while WooriFinancialGroup saw a decline of 700, closing at 28,350. LGELECTRONICS and L and F faced declines of 7,100 and 8,900, closing at 195,900 and 98,900, respectively. Celltrion's stock dropped by 7,200, ending at 165,900, while TKG Huchems saw a minor decline of 300, closing at 14,950.
JB Financial Group declined by 850, ending at 22,850, while DAEWOONG PHARM's stock decreased by 4,300, closing at 107,300. KIH faced a significant decline of 14,000, closing at 200,000, and KDHC saw a decrease of 1,200, ending at 64,800.
