According to Yonhap News Agency, Samsung CandT witnessed a significant drop in its stock price, decreasing by 29,500 to close at 395,000. This decline was indicative of a broader trend affecting several technology and finance stocks on the index. Similarly, NAVER's stock fell by 4,500, closing at 192,700, while LGCHEM saw a decrease of 10,500, ending the day at 255,000.
In contrast, LG Electronics emerged as one of the few bright spots, with its stock price increasing by 6,700 to close at 195,800. NC also experienced a positive movement, with its stock rising by 3,500 to reach 258,500. Another notable performer was Misto Holdings, which saw a gain of 1,650, closing at 47,850.
Other companies faced declines, such as KIWOOM, which dropped by 11,500 to 334,500, and KEPCO EandC, which saw a reduction of 6,800, closing at 94,900. Hanwha Ocean and Hanwha Engine also reported significant declines, with their stock prices falling by 7,800 and 4,100, respectively.
