KOSPI 200 Sees Broad Declines in Major Corporations

SEOUL — The KOSPI 200 index reported widespread declines across major South Korean corporations, as detailed in the latest closing price list.

According to Yonhap News Agency, notable decreases were led by HD HYUNDAI ELECTRIC, which plummeted by 35,000 points, significantly impacting the electrical sector. Other major losses included SKC with a 6,300 point drop and Mobis, which decreased by 4,500 points. Additionally, Samsung Life and KTandG also experienced significant setbacks, decreasing by 2,000 and 800 points respectively.

Despite the prevailing downward trend, there were a few exceptions. HANWHA AEROSPACE saw an increase of 1,000 points, and SAMSUNG CARD gained 1,350 points. The day's trading ended with mixed results, with some sectors showing resilience amidst a generally bearish market. Companies like COWAY and S-1 reported modest gains of 200 points each, indicating selective investor interest in specific sectors.
