Seoul: In the latest KOSPI 200 index updates, a varied performance was observed among the listed companies, with HYOSUNG HEAVY leading the gains.
According to Yonhap News Agency, HYOSUNG HEAVY experienced a significant increase of 54,000, closing at 2,915,000. Other notable gainers included SamsungElecMech, which rose by 58,000 to reach 1,388,000, and LG Innotek, which increased by 25,000, closing at 532,000. DB HiTek also saw an upward movement, rising by 1,600 to close at 126,100, while DN AUTOMOTIVE increased by 1,200 to end at 49,300.
Conversely, several companies faced declines. Notably, TaekwangInd dropped by 19,000 to 896,000, while HDKSOE fell by 11,000 to finish at 337,500. Other companies experiencing decreases included Hanmi Science, which went down by 2,400 to 48,500, and YoungoneHoldings, decreasing by 2,600 to 166,200. LG Energy Solution also saw a decline, dropping by 1,000 to close at 364,000.
In the mid-range of the index, HANWHA SOLUTIONS remained unchanged at 28,400, whereas Hanchem also showed no movement, maintaining its position at 215,000. The overall performance of the KOSPI 200 reflects a mixed landscape in the current market environment.
