Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index displayed mixed movements with notable fluctuations in closing prices across various sectors. Key performers included SKTelecom and Korea Aerospace, which experienced significant gains, while companies such as Doosan and CJ Logistics witnessed declines.
According to Yonhap News Agency, SKTelecom saw its share price rise by 100, closing at 56,000, while Korea Aerospace experienced a substantial increase of 2,300, closing at 84,300. HyundaiElev also reported a notable rise of 2,000, reaching a closing price of 55,300. On the other hand, Doosan reported the most significant decline, with its share price falling by 11,000 to close at 331,000.
Other companies such as S-1 and NCsoft recorded gains, with S-1 increasing by 2,000 to 60,800 and NCsoft surging by 5,200 to 163,000. Meanwhile, POSCO International and CJ Logistics experienced declines, with POSCO International dropping by 2,100 to 57,000 and CJ Logistics falling by 2,500 to 90,300.
Samsung-related stocks showed a mixed performance. SamsungSecu and SamsungE and A saw their prices increase by 300 and 750, closing at 45,500 and 19,300, respectively. However, SAMSUNG C and T and SAMSUNG CARD faced declines, with their prices dropping by 700 and 150, closing at 118,900 and 42,600.
Additionally, companies like LG Display and Doosan Enerbility also experienced declines, with LG Display dropping by 150 to 8,980 and Doosan Enerbility decreasing by 400 to 25,850. Conversely, Hanwha Ocean and NAVER reported gains, with Hanwha Ocean rising by 2,500 to 73,500 and NAVER increasing by 2,000 to 216,000.
