Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index witnessed a mixed performance with notable movements in the closing prices of several companies. HYUNDAIGLOVIS and HYUNDAI ROTEM emerged as significant gainers, while companies like NCsoft and HANMISemi experienced declines.
According to Yonhap News Agency, HYUNDAIGLOVIS recorded a substantial increase, closing at 131,600, a rise of 7,000. Similarly, HYUNDAI ROTEM saw an impressive gain, ending the day at 115,700, marking an increase of 4,200. Other companies such as SK Innovation and LGCHEM also posted gains, closing at 125,500 and 264,500, respectively.
On the downside, NCsoft ended the day at 160,700, down by 2,600. HANMISemi closed at 87,000, with a decrease of 3,300. LGELECTRONICS and L and F also faced declines, closing at 81,800 and 69,100, respectively. Despite these decreases, companies like DAWEOONG PHARM and POONGSAN saw positive movements, closing at 119,200 and 66,500, respectively.
Other stocks such as Hanwha Ocean and SD Biosensor remained unchanged, closing at 73,100 and 9,600, respectively. The varied performances across different sectors reflect ongoing market dynamics and investor sentiment within the KOSPI 200 index.
