Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index exhibited a varied performance in its recent session, showcasing a mix of gains and losses among its listed companies. Some companies recorded notable gains, while others faced declines in their stock prices.
According to Yonhap News Agency, several companies experienced significant upward movements. SK reported a substantial increase, rising by 41,000 to reach 586,000. KCC also saw a notable gain, climbing 19,500 to settle at 493,500. Samsung SDS experienced an uptick of 5,000, closing at 245,000. Other companies that posted increases include Samsung C and T with a rise of 14,000 to 390,500, and LOTTE SHOPPING, which climbed 6,900 to 113,300.
Conversely, some companies faced declines. Korea Aerospace reported a significant drop, falling by 3,800 to 127,200. KT and G experienced a decrease of 3,200, ending at 174,900. Other companies that saw declines include HANMISemi, which fell by 5,500 to 215,000, and DWEC, which decreased by 1,370 to 16,820.
Overall, the KOSPI 200 index reflected a balanced mix of progress and setbacks, highlighting the dynamic nature of the stock market and the varying performances of its constituent companies.
