KOSPI 200 Sees Mixed Performance with Significant Stock Movements

Seoul:The KOSPI 200 index witnessed varied performance among its constituent stocks, with notable gains and losses reported by several companies.

According to Yonhap News Agency, Hyundai Wia's stock price increased by 600 to close at 53,800, and Kumho Petrochem saw an increase of 1,300, ending at 118,700. On the other hand, Mobis experienced a decline, dropping 3,500 to finish at 380,000, while Hanwha Aerospace fell by 49,000 to close at 1,023,000.

Significant gains were also recorded by Samsung Epis Holding, which rose by 6,500 to settle at 371,500, and S-1, which increased by 1,600, closing at 84,700. Hanchem gained 3,500, ending the day at 277,500, and DWS rose by 800 to 22,100.

Conversely, Samsung Securities saw a decrease of 1,300, closing at 89,100, and Korea Aerospace dropped 4,300 to finish at 129,200. Kumho Tire also saw a decline, falling by 180 to 6,690, and Coway's stock decreased by 800 to close at 100,800.

Other notable changes included SK's increase of 2,000 to reach 586,000, while KEPCO's stock edged up by 250 to 30,300. Meanwhile, LG Uplus saw a minor rise of 10, ending at 14,560, and Hanmi Semiconductor gained 6,000, closing at 278,000.
