Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index experienced significant movements in its closing prices, with several companies witnessing notable changes. Among the prominent shifts were Samsung SDS, which saw a substantial increase of 50,500, closing at 299,000, and LG Innotek, which rose by 324,000 to 1,458,000. On the other hand, Hanchem's price fell by 11,000, closing at 270,000.
According to Yonhap News Agency, other companies also experienced fluctuations. HyundaiEng and Const closed at 147,000, marking an increase of 5,600, while Samsung C and T rose by 33,000 to reach 432,500. LG Corp. saw an upward change of 30,800, ending at 146,600. In contrast, SeAH Steel Holdings experienced a decrease of 7,800, closing at 153,200.
Additionally, LG CNS increased by 26,200, closing at 113,800, and Mobis saw a rise of 82,000, reaching 768,000. Meanwhile, TaekwangInd faced a decrease of 24,000, ending at 969,000, and SamyangFood dropped by 6,000 to close at 1,205,000. The market also observed LG Display's increase of 1,670, reaching 16,090, and a slight rise in KT's price by 900, closing at 52,800.
The index reflected varied performances across different sectors, with companies like PARADISE and Korea Aerospace also registering increases, closing at 14,100 and 168,300, respectively. Meanwhile, KEPCO and WooriFinancialGroup experienced slight downturns, ending at 38,900 and 29,700, respectively.
