Seoul: Wednesday's trading session on the Korea Stock Exchange saw a range of movements in the KOSPI 200 stocks, with several major companies experiencing notable declines. Among the significant changes, Hyundai Heavy Industries recorded a decrease of 13,000 KRW, closing at 440,500 KRW, while Nongshim saw a substantial drop of 10,500 KRW, to finish at 398,000 KRW.
According to Yonhap News Agency, LG Corp. also experienced a significant decline, with a reduction of 2,100 KRW, bringing its closing price to 112,200 KRW. POSCO Holdings fell by 5,500 KRW, closing at 326,500 KRW, and Hyundai Motor recorded a drop of 5,000 KRW, closing at 362,000 KRW.
On the other hand, some companies saw gains, with SK hynix increasing by 69,000 KRW to close at 1,759,000 KRW, and Doosan rising by 98,000 KRW, reaching 1,387,000 KRW by the end of the session. DB HiTek also showed an upward trend, gaining 8,300 KRW to finish at 125,000 KRW.
