Seoul:The KOSPI 200 stocks on the main Korea Stock Exchange displayed varied performances in Thursday's trading session, with several stocks experiencing gains while others faced declines.
According to Yonhap News Agency, HS Hyosung Advanced saw an increase, closing at 164,700 KRW, up by 2,000 KRW. Samsung Electronics witnessed a decrease, ending at 262,000 KRW, down by 6,500 KRW. MiwonComcl rose to 140,600 KRW, up 900 KRW, while SD Biosensor fell to 6,410 KRW, a decrease of 440 KRW.
KT closed at 52,100 KRW, marking an increase of 800 KRW. ORION Holdings dropped to 22,600 KRW, down by 200 KRW. Amorepacific Holdings decreased by 600 KRW to 25,900 KRW. Hyundai Motor saw a significant drop to 324,500 KRW, down by 11,500 KRW, and KCC fell to 460,500 KRW, a decrease of 7,000 KRW.
SKBP ended at 72,700 KRW, down by 3,300 KRW, whereas Taekwang Industrial declined to 910,000 KRW, down by 14,000 KRW. Samyang Food dropped significantly by 45,000 KRW to 1,172,000 KRW. POSCO International saw a slight decrease to 57,100 KRW, down by 100 KRW, while CJ CheilJedang rose to 183,700 KRW, up 1,200 KRW.
Youngpoong gained, closing at 40,950 KRW, up 800 KRW, whereas HiteJinro fell to 14,810 KRW, down by 50 KRW. Yuhan's stock decreased by 1,900 KRW, closing at 73,100 KRW. SLCORP saw a decrease to 50,300 KRW, down by 600 KRW, and CJ Logistics dropped to 69,300 KRW, down by 1,000 KRW.
Doosan experienced a significant drop, closing at 1,342,000 KRW, down by 57,000 KRW. DL fell to 48,450 KRW, a decrease of 800 KRW. Hankook and Company increased to 26,700 KRW, up 1,150 KRW, while Kia Corporation's stock decreased by 2,800 KRW to 106,800 KRW.
SK hynix saw a substantial decrease, closing at 1,681,000 KRW, down by 42,000 KRW. Lotte Fine Chemical fell to 42,100 KRW, down 600 KRW, and Hyundai Steel decreased slightly to 28,200 KRW, down by 250 KRW. KAL's stock decreased by 150 KRW, closing at 30,700 KRW, while LG Corp. dropped to 108,100 KRW, down by 2,700 KRW.
POSCO Future M rose to 193,100 KRW, up by 1,700 KRW. Shinsegae experienced a decrease, closing at 305,500 KRW, down by 14,000 KRW, and Nongshim fell to 397,500 KRW, down by 2,500 KRW.
Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance experienced a decline, closing at 612,000 KRW, down by 17,000 KRW. HANALL Biopharma decreased by 1,800 KRW to 44,000 KRW. Kogas fell to 36,100 KRW, down by 300 KRW, and Hanwha saw a significant drop to 110,100 KRW, down by 7,900 KRW.
DB HiTek gained, closing at 138,800 KRW, up by 4,400 KRW. CJ decreased to 130,400 KRW, down by 1,500 KRW, while Lotte fell to 22,900 KRW, down by 400 KRW. Lotte Chilsung remained unchanged at 95,300 KRW, and Asia Holdings increased significantly, closing at 214,500 KRW, up by 5,500 KRW.
