Seoul:The KOSPI 200 index demonstrated a mixture of gains and losses in its latest trading session. Among the stocks, Samsung Biologics experienced a considerable increase, closing at 1,487,000, up by 121,000. Other notable gainers included NC, which rose by 2,000 to reach 201,500, and LG H and H, climbing 5,500 to 259,500.
According to Yonhap News Agency, the trading session also saw declines in several stocks. For instance, KIWOOM dropped by 17,000, closing at 219,500, while SANIL ELECTRIC experienced a decrease of 10,100, ending at 146,700. Other stocks such as HD-Hyundai Marine Engine and LIG Defense and Aerospace also saw significant drops of 950 and 11,500, respectively.
Additionally, HanmiPharm saw an increase of 26,500, reaching a closing price of 415,000. LG Chem and ShinhanGroup also posted gains, with LG Chem up by 1,000 to close at 235,000 and ShinhanGroup rising by 1,100 to 89,600. Meanwhile, companies like HYUNDAIGLOVIS and GS experienced declines, with HYUNDAIGLOVIS down by 5,000 to 183,800 and GS falling by 1,600 to 81,000.
