Seoul:The KOSPI 200 stocks closed with varied performance on the main Korea Stock Exchange on Tuesday. Notable declines were observed in several stocks, including KCC, which fell by 20,000 KRW to close at 435,500 KRW, and Hyundai Motor, which decreased by 5,000 KRW, ending at 315,000 KRW. Samsung Electro-Mechanics saw a significant drop of 124,000 KRW, closing at 1,363,000 KRW.
According to Yonhap News Agency, while some companies experienced declines, others showed gains. POSCO International rose by 1,800 KRW to 56,600 KRW, and LG Energy Solution saw a substantial increase of 12,000 KRW, closing at 410,000 KRW. Additionally, CJ CheilJedang and Daewoong recorded gains of 900 KRW and 400 KRW, closing at 182,800 KRW and 15,540 KRW, respectively.
Overall, the trading session presented a mix of gains and losses across different sectors, reflecting a varied market sentiment among KOSPI 200 listed companies.
