Seoul:The KOSPI 200 index saw widespread declines in its closing prices, with several companies experiencing notable drops.
According to Yonhap News Agency, NC's stock fell by 13,000 to close at 209,000, while KIWOOM decreased by 5,000, settling at 238,000. Hanwha Ocean's shares dropped by 4,700 to 67,300, and HANMISemi experienced a decline of 18,500, closing at 248,500.
Other significant decreases included DWEC, which fell by 580 to 16,090, and KEPCO KPS, dropping 750 to 42,800. LG H and H's stock declined by 7,000, ending at 262,500, with LGCHEM losing 26,000 to close at 260,500. KEPCO E and C's price went down by 10,800 to 112,200, and SANIL ELECTRIC decreased by 8,000, closing at 214,500.
HYUNDAI ROTEM's shares declined by 5,200 to 100,000, while LG CNS fell by 1,200, settling at 66,300. WooriFinancialGroup saw a decrease of 150, closing at 32,200, and LGELECTRONICS dropped by 15,800 to 184,700. L and F's stock fell by 9,300 to 106,900, while TKG Huchems declined by 140 to 15,640.
Despite the general downturn, a few companies saw increases. ShinhanGroup's stock rose by 1,000 to 100,500, Celltrion increased by 800 to 180,400, and Misto Holdings went up by 800, closing at 38,950. KDHC's shares increased by 200 to 77,200, and Youngone Corp rose by 2,300 to 72,700.
Among other declines, DAEWOONG PHARM fell by 4,900 to 103,600, HYUNDAIDEPTST decreased by 2,100 to 84,400, and KIH dropped by 3,000 to 165,600. HD-Hyundai Marine Engine saw a decline of 2,250, closing at 40,550. GS's shares fell by 3,200 to 100,800, and LIG Defense and Aerospace went down by 21,000, settling at 59,500.
Hanwha Engine experienced a drop of 2,150 to 38,900, while HYUNDAIGLOVIS decreased by 1,000, closing at 181,900. HANAFINANCIALGR saw a slight increase of 100 to 124,400, whereas HANWHA LIFE declined by 70 to 5,110. AMOREPACIFIC's stock dropped by 3,700 to 132,200, and FOOSUNG fell by 730 to 14,310. SK Innovation experienced a decline of 8,100, closing at 152,800, and POONGSAN decreased by 1,300 to 64,300.
KBFinancialGroup remained unchanged at 162,800, and CSWIND experienced a minor decrease of 300, closing at 55,400. KOLON IND's shares declined by 1,600 to 53,800, while HanmiPharm saw a significant drop of 6,000, ending at 474,500.
