KOSPI 200 Stocks Witness Mixed Movements on Korea Stock Exchange

Seoul: Friday's trading session on the main Korea Stock Exchange saw the KOSPI 200 stocks experiencing a combination of gains and losses in their closing prices.

According to Yonhap News Agency, notable movements included a rise in POSCO Holdings' price by 5,000 KRW, closing at 394,000 KRW, and Hyundai Motor's price dropping by 4,000 KRW to 509,000 KRW. Among other prominent performers, HANWHA SYSTEMS reported a significant increase of 10,100 KRW, closing at 116,500 KRW, while AMOREPACIFIC Holdings fell by 1,100 KRW to 33,800 KRW.

Additional stock movements included a 600 KRW increase for LOTTE, which closed at 36,450 KRW, and an 11,000 KRW decline for HanmiPharm, ending at 610,000 KRW. CSWIND experienced a drop of 2,600 KRW, closing at 47,800 KRW, while Taihan Cable and Solution saw an uptick of 250 KRW, reaching 32,900 KRW.

Furthermore, SBHC rose by 200 KRW to 74,300 KRW, and SeAH Steel Holdings increased by 4,500 KRW to 153,100 KRW. Conversely, Yuhan's price decreased by 1,100 KRW to 111,800 KRW, and Hanmi Science fell by 800 KRW, closing at 42,550 KRW. SamsungFire and Marine Insurance reported a significant gain of 48,000 KRW, closing at 618,000 KRW.

The session concluded with various other stocks showing significant changes, including HD Hyundai Heavy Industries, which rose by 28,000 KRW to 602,000 KRW, and POSCO INTERNATIONAL, climbing by 6,100 KRW to 75,300 KRW. Meanwhile, Taekwang Industrial faced a decline, falling 14,000 KRW to 1,097,000 KRW.
