KOSPI 200 Witnesses Significant Gains Amid Fluctuations in Key Stocks

Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index experienced significant movements as multiple stocks closed higher, while a few witnessed declines. Among the notable gainers, APR surged by 24,500, closing at 409,500, while d'Alba Global saw a rise of 16,000, ending at 232,500. COSMAX also posted a considerable increase, closing at 286,000, up by 15,000.

According to Yonhap News Agency, Samsung Biologics experienced a notable uptick, closing at 1,573,000 with an increase of 22,000. HyundaiAutoever and HDHMS also reported substantial gains, rising by 9,500 and 8,800, closing at 457,500 and 206,500, respectively. Hankook Tire and Technology and Kolmar Korea were among other gainers, closing at 668,000 and 143,300, with increases of 800 and 6,600, respectively.

Meanwhile, HD Hyundai faced a decline, with its stock price dropping by 1,000 to close at 212,000. DoubleUGames and HL Mando also reported decreases, closing at 58,800 and 51,100, down by 600 and 400, respectively. SKSQUARE registered a significant decline of 47,000, ending the day at 1,076,000.

Several other companies closed the day with modest gains. Netmarble, Krafton, and HanjinKal saw their stocks rise by 850, 2,000, and 3,600, closing at 37,900, 224,000, and 121,500, respectively. BGF Retail and HS Hyosung Advanced reported increases, closing at 145,900 and 165,500, up by 4,500 and 4,900, respectively.

Overall, the KOSPI 200 index reflected a day of mixed performances, with substantial gains and declines among various key stocks, indicating a dynamic trading environment.
