SEOUL — Krafton Inc. announced a substantial 165.7 percent increase in its net income for the second quarter, reaching 341.4 billion won ($248.9 million). This marked improvement over the previous year's figures reflects a significant surge in the company's financial performance.
According to Yonhap News Agency, the company's operating income for the April-June period also saw a significant rise of 152.5 percent to 332.1 billion won, while its revenue increased by 82.6 percent to 707 billion won. These figures notably exceeded market expectations, with the average net profit estimate by analysts previously standing at 180.1 billion won, based on a survey conducted by Yonhap Infomax, the financial data arm of Yonhap News Agency.
