Lee to Visit Japan’s Nara for Summit Talks with Takaichi

Seoul: President Lee Jae Myung will make a two-day visit to Japan's Nara prefecture early next week for summit talks with Japanese Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi to discuss ways to strengthen bilateral ties, Cheong Wa Dae said Friday.

According to Yonhap News Agency, Lee is scheduled to depart for Japan next Tuesday for the summit talks, which will be held in the Japanese prefecture of Nara, Takaichi's hometown. This visit aims to further bilateral cooperation and address mutual interests between the two nations.

Lee and Takaichi last held summit talks on October 30 on the sidelines of an Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation forum in Gyeongju. They also briefly met on the margins of the Group of 20 leaders' gathering in South Africa in November, signaling ongoing dialogue and collaboration.
