Seoul: LG Innotek on Monday reported its fourth-quarter net income of 135.9 billion won (US$94.3 million), marking an increase of 27.1 percent compared to the same period last year. The company disclosed these financial results in a regulatory filing, highlighting significant growth in its earnings for the October-December timeframe.
According to Yonhap News Agency, LG Innotek's operating profit for the fourth quarter was 324.8 billion won, which is an increase of 31 percent from the previous year. Additionally, the company's revenue experienced a rise of 14.8 percent, reaching 7.6 trillion won. Despite these gains, the operating profit was 13.7 percent lower than the average estimate derived from a survey conducted by Yonhap Infomax, the financial data arm of Yonhap News Agency. It is important to note that the estimate for net profit was not available from this survey.
