According to Yonhap News Agency, DeChambeau shared the first-round lead at LIV Golf Korea, scoring five-under 65 with seven birdies and two bogeys at Asiad Country Club. The American golfer, who has two career major titles, played alongside South Korean player An Byeong-hun in a marquee group. Despite An's local popularity, DeChambeau received significant support from the crowd on Thursday.
