Market Decline Observed in KOSPI 200 with Significant Drops in Key Companies

Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index showed a notable decline as several major companies experienced significant drops in their closing prices. Among the biggest losers, HD Hyundai Electric closed at 752,000, down by 45,000, and SK Square at 1,177,000, down by 35,000.

According to Yonhap News Agency, APR recorded a decrease of 25,000, closing at 368,000, while Hyundai Autoever fell by 21,500 to reach 371,500. In the biotechnology sector, Samsung Biologics experienced a substantial drop of 51,000, closing at 1,345,000.

The financial sector was not immune to the downturn, with iM Financial Group decreasing by 510 to 17,900 and BNK Financial Group dropping by 630 to 17,700. KakaoBank also faced a reduction, closing at 22,550, down by 450.

In contrast, some companies managed to buck the trend. MIWON SC increased by 1,400, closing at 113,600, and d'Alba Global rose by 8,500 to 217,000. HYOSUNG TNC saw an increase of 20,000, closing at 298,000.

Overall, the market reflected a broad decline, impacting various sectors and indicating a challenging trading session for investors.
