Seoul: Meritz Financial on Wednesday reported its first-quarter net income of 620.8 billion won (US$436.8 million), reflecting a 5 percent increase from the same period last year.
According to Yonhap News Agency, the company disclosed in a regulatory filing that its operating profit for the January-March period experienced a decline of 6.4 percent year-on-year, amounting to 721.7 billion won. Additionally, the firm's revenue saw a decrease of 34.5 percent, totaling 8.23 trillion won.
