Seoul:National Assembly Speaker Cho Jeong-sik is set to embark on a nine-day tour of Italy, Vatican City, Croatia, and Greece, marking his first overseas trip since assuming office in June.
According to Yonhap News Agency, Cho's visit aims to strengthen economic and industrial cooperation with these European nations. In Italy, he is scheduled to meet with Lorenzo Fontana, president of the Chamber of Deputies, and Gian Marco Centinaio, vice president of the Senate, to discuss expanding parliamentary exchanges and supporting mutual economic interests.
