NewJeans Fans Protest Against ADOR CEO in Seoul

SEOUL - Supporters of the K-pop group NewJeans expressed their dissatisfaction with ADOR's CEO, Min Hee-jin, by deploying a protest truck outside Hybe's headquarters in Seoul. The electronic billboard on the truck, sent by Bunnies—the official fandom of NewJeans—displayed messages urging Min to refrain from utilizing NewJeans for personal benefit and to stop making negative remarks about other artists.

According to Yonhap News Agency, Min Hee-jin is embroiled in a dispute with Hybe over creative rights, alleging that ILLIT, a newly launched girl group by another Hybe sub-label, has imitated NewJeans. This conflict followed accusations from Hybe of an attempted takeover by Min and her team, claims that she has denied. NewJeans is set to release a new single, "How Sweet," on May 24.
