NewJeans to Unveil New Single in May

SEOUL - K-pop sensation NewJeans is set to release a new single on May 24, their management agency, ADOR, announced on Wednesday. The upcoming single marks the group's latest project since their debut, promising fans an exciting return with new music and performances.

According to Yonhap News Agency, the single will feature a total of four tracks, including the main track "How Sweet," another song titled "Bubble Gum," and instrumental versions of both songs. "Bubble Gum" is also slated for feature in Japanese TV commercials and shows starting next month, signaling the group's expanding influence beyond the Korean music scene.

Additionally, NewJeans will make their Japanese debut with a single set for release on June 21, which will include the lead track "Supernatural," "Right Now," and instrumental versions of these songs. "Right Now" will be introduced as commercial music in both South Korea and Japan in May, ahead of the official release of the single.

ADOR's strategy includes a simultaneous distribution of the Japanese single album across South Korea and the international music market. Following these releases, NewJeans plans to appear on TV music programs in both countries and host their second fan meet-and-greet session at the Tokyo Dome from June 26-27. This event will also mark the group's first standalone concert in Japan.

Beyond these immediate plans, NewJeans is preparing to launch a new album in the second half of this year and is planning a world tour for the following year, further establishing their global presence in the music industry.
