Abu dhabi: No casualties among South Korean workers have been reported following a drone strike that sparked a fire at a nuclear plant in the United Arab Emirates, officials said Sunday. Authorities in Abu Dhabi reported a fire incident ignited by a drone strike at an electrical generator outside the inner perimeter of the Barakah nuclear power plant in the Al Dhafra region.

According to Yonhap News Agency, the media office in Abu Dhabi stated on social media platform X that no injuries were reported, and there was no impact on radiological safety levels. South Korea's foreign ministry and the state-run Korea Electric Power Corp. (KEPCO) confirmed that there were no casualties involving South Korean workers at the plant.
