According to Yonhap News Agency, the Joint Chiefs of Staff (JCS), following a statement from the North Korean People's Army (KPA) on October 9, there have been observed activities by North Korean forces that are believed to be preparations for demolishing sections of the Gyeongui and Donghae railway lines.
