“Physical: 100 Season 2” Secures Top Spot on Netflix’s Non-English TV Chart

SEOUL – "Physical: 100 Season 2 - Underground," the latest installment of the South Korean reality survival series, has clinched the number one position on Netflix's weekly chart for non-English TV series. The show, which premiered on March 19, garnered 6.1 million views during the week of March 18 to 24.

According to Yonhap News Agency, The competition, which pits 100 physically fit contestants against each other in a series of challenging tests to identify the ultimate survivor, has quickly become a fan favorite, following the success of its first season. The winner of the contest stands to gain not only significant recognition but also a cash prize of 300 million won (approximately $227,700).

Following its debut from January 24 to February 21 last year, the first season of "Physical: 100" dominated Netflix's global top 10 non-English TV show chart, accumulating a total viewing time of 192.63 million hours over six weeks. With seven out of the nine episodes of the second season already available for streaming, the final two episodes are eagerly awaited by fans, with their release scheduled for Tuesday.
