Seoul: Prime Minister Han Seong-sook declared on Tuesday that she is committed to ensuring the success of the government's housing supply plan, stating that she is willing to stake her job on its fulfillment. According to Yonhap News Agency, Han emphasized her dedication to the plan by highlighting her ongoing visits to construction sites on a weekly basis to monitor their progress. Her firm stance comes in the wake of the government's recent announcement to expedite the development of more than 230,000 additional homes in the Seoul metropolitan area. This ambitious plan includes measures such as accelerating development on public land, easing greenbelt restrictions, and bolstering private-sector initiatives.
