Busan: Police have taken three right-wing YouTubers into custody for staging an anti-China demonstration near the summit venue between U.S. President Donald Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping in the southeastern city of Busan.
According to Yonhap News Agency, the group of YouTubers allegedly shouted slogans condemning China while hanging an American flag on their vehicle near a police station around Gimhae Air Base, where Trump and Xi were holding talks. They reportedly did not notify authorities of the rally in advance.
Police plan to further investigate the case and decide whether to seek charges against the individuals involved. The U.S.-China summit is taking place on the margins of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation gathering held in the nearby city of Gyeongju.
