The dialogue, initiated by Zelenskyy, focused on reinforcing South Korea's role in international efforts to restore peace and assist in Ukraine's post-war reconstruction.
According to Yonhap News Agency, President Yoon emphasized South Korea's proactive involvement in global initiatives aimed at supporting Ukraine during these challenging times. In response, President Zelenskyy expressed his gratitude and hope for continued cooperation, also extending an invitation to President Yoon for a forthcoming peace summit in Switzerland. The leaders agreed to maintain open lines of communication to support efforts towards ending the conflict in Ukraine and fostering global peace.
