Renault Korea’s November Sales See Significant Decline Amid Weak Demand

SEOUL - Renault Korea Motors, the South Korean subsidiary of Renault S.A., reported a significant drop in its sales for November, citing a substantial decrease in demand for its models. The company, on Friday, disclosed a 73.9 percent reduction in sales compared to the same period last year.

According to Yonhap News Agency, the sales figures for November stood at 4,523 vehicles, a steep decline from the 17,333 units sold a year earlier. This downturn is attributed to sluggish demand both domestically and internationally.

In the domestic market, the sales figures saw a 66.2 percent fall, totaling 1,875 units. Meanwhile, the company's exports experienced an even more pronounced drop of 77.5 percent year-on-year, amounting to 2,648 units. Despite the overall decrease in sales, the QM6 midsized SUV emerged as the company's best-selling model in South Korea with 1,034 units sold. Internationally, the XM3 SUV was the most popular model for Renault Korea.
