PARIS — Samsung Electronics Co. has started distributing a special Olympic edition of its new Galaxy Z Flip 6 smartphone to athletes participating in the Paris Summer Olympic Games. The distribution includes nearly 17,000 athletes and members of the Olympic family, ahead of the phone's market release.
According to Yonhap News Agency, The company, which has been a consistent Olympic partner since 1998, unveiled the Galaxy Z Flip 6 on July 10. The new foldable smartphone, which officially hits the market on Wednesday, features an AI-powered real-time translation service and is equipped with several official Olympic apps. This initiative is part of Samsung’s ongoing commitment to enhancing the experience of Olympic participants through technology. The Summer Olympic Games are set to commence this Friday in Paris and will continue until August 11.
