Search Intensifies for Three Missing South Korean Women in Grand Canyon

Los Angeles: Three South Korean women have been missing for ten days during a trip to the Grand Canyon in Arizona, sparking a search effort by local authorities and diplomats. The women, including a 33-year-old and her 59-year-old mother, lost contact on March 13 while traveling from the Grand Canyon to Las Vegas.



According to Yonhap News Agency, the three women were scheduled to return to South Korea via San Francisco International Airport on March 17. Following the loss of contact, their family in South Korea sought assistance from the foreign ministry in Seoul to locate them.



The Consulate General of South Korea in Los Angeles has requested that local police and transportation authorities in Arizona initiate an investigation. The search operation is currently ongoing, with authorities working to gather any information that might lead to the trio’s whereabouts.
