Accra:Seventeen's new sub-unit, Jeonghan X Joshua, is set to release their debut EP titled "Dreamscape" on Monday, as announced by their agency, Pledis Entertainment.
According to Yonhap News Agency, the EP "Dreamscape" combines elements of fantasy and reality, delving into the interplay between the dreams experienced during sleep and the ambitions pursued in real life, as described by Joshua.
This release marks Jeonghan's first musical project since completing his mandatory military service in June, and it is Joshua's first sub-unit endeavor since his debut. The seven-track album features the lead single "12 O'clock," a dance-rock song that showcases the duo's mature vocals, incorporating a modern take on 70s and 80s disco and funk.
Jeonghan mentioned that the album was crafted so that the seven tracks flow like a single narrative, encouraging listeners to discover the hidden metaphors within the songs. He expressed a mix of nerves and excitement, stating his eagerness to reconnect with fans following his return.
