Significant Movements in KOSPI 200 as LG Innotek and Hanwha Aerospace Lead Gains

Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index today saw varied movements among its listed companies, with notable changes in stock prices. LG Innotek and Hanwha Aerospace emerged as significant gainers, while several other companies experienced declines.

According to Yonhap News Agency, LG Innotek's stocks rose by 500 to reach 163,700, while Hanwha Aerospace saw a substantial increase of 47,000, closing at 675,000. Other companies that experienced gains included Hyundai WIA, which was up by 2,650 to 48,500, and Mobis, rising by 13,000 to 279,500. KumhoPetrochem also saw a notable increase, climbing 3,500 to close at 119,200.

Conversely, several companies experienced declines in their stock prices. LOTTE CHEMICAL Corporation fell by 1,400 to 67,900, and Hanchem dropped by 3,200 to 130,700. SamsungSDS and Korea Aerospace also saw declines, with their prices falling by 900 and 800, respectively. NAVER and Kakao, significant players in the technology sector, experienced decreases of 2,500 and 1,700, respectively.

Other companies showed minor fluctuations, such as KT, which fell by 150 to 49,600, while KEPCO increased by 200 to 22,300. Lotte Shopping saw a slight increase of 100, closing at 65,500. The mixed performance across the board reflects the ongoing market dynamics impacting the KOSPI 200 index.
