Seoul: SK Innovation Co., South Korea's leading refiner, reported a net loss of 5.4 trillion won (US$3.8 billion) in 2025, marking a continuation of financial challenges compared to the previous year.
According to Yonhap News Agency, the company disclosed in a regulatory filing that its operating income for the year increased by 25.8 percent on-year, reaching 448.1 billion won. In addition, the company's annual sales saw an 8.2 percent increase, totaling 80.29 trillion won. Despite the improvement in operating income and sales, SK Innovation remains in a net loss position.
