Seoul: SKC Co., a South Korean chemical materials producer, reported a fourth-quarter net loss of 498.6 billion won (US$340.6 million), marking a continued period of financial struggle compared with the previous year.
According to Yonhap News Agency, the company disclosed in a regulatory filing that it sustained an operating loss of 107.6 billion won for the October-December quarter. This was a deeper loss compared to the 82.3 billion won operating loss recorded in the same period the year before. Despite these losses, SKC managed to achieve a slight sales increase of 0.8 percent, reaching 428.3 billion won.
