South Korean Bond Yields Experience Varied Changes

Seoul: South Korean bond yields saw a range of changes on July 31, 2026, with most yields experiencing a decline.

According to Yonhap News Agency, the 1-year Treasury Bond (TB) yield decreased to 3.365% from the previous session's 3.380%, marking a change of -1.5 basis points. The 2-year TB yield fell to 3.650% from 3.713%, showing a decline of 6.3 basis points. Meanwhile, the 3-year TB yield decreased by 7.3 basis points, from 3.831% to 3.758%.

The 10-year TB yield also saw a reduction, dropping from 4.311% to 4.261%, which is a 5.0 basis point decrease. The 2-year Monetary Stabilization Bond (MSB) yield decreased by 4.7 basis points, moving from 3.707% to 3.660%.

In the corporate bond segment, the 3-year Corporate Bond (CB) rated AA- experienced a decline of 6.3 basis points, with yields falling from 4.541% to 4.478%. On the other hand, the 91-day Certificate of Deposit (CD) yield increased by 2.0 basis points, rising from 2.930% to 2.950%.
