SEOUL - On July 8, 2024, South Korean bond yields exhibited slight changes compared to the previous trading session, according to the latest financial data.
According to Yonhap News Agency, the 1-year treasury bond (TB) yield decreased slightly by 0.7 basis points to 3.209%, while the 10-year TB saw a more significant reduction, falling by 1.5 basis points to 3.212%. Other short-term securities, such as the 2-year and 91-day certificates of deposit (CD), remained unchanged. Meanwhile, the 3-year TB experienced a minor increase of 0.4 basis points, settling at 3.119%. In the corporate bond market, the 3-year corporate bond (CB) rated AA- also saw a minor decrease of 0.2 basis points, reaching 3.580%.
