South Korean Vice Foreign Minister Discusses Economic and Energy Cooperation in UAE

ABU DHABI – South Korea's First Vice Foreign Minister, Kim Hong-kyun, engaged in high-level talks with UAE officials this past week, focusing on advancing mutual interests in economic growth and energy cooperation.

According to Yonhap News Agency, Kim met with Khaldoon Khalifa Al Mubarak, Chairman of the Executive Affairs Authority of Abu Dhabi, and Ahmed Ali Al Sayegh, UAE's Minister of State, on Friday. The discussions centered on enhancing cooperation across various sectors, including the economy, peaceful nuclear energy, defense, and traditional energy sectors. Kim advocated for increased support for South Korean businesses seeking to expand their operations in the UAE, particularly in trade, construction, health care, and climate change initiatives. He emphasized the importance of close collaboration between the two countries to promote regional and global peace and stability.
