This statement was made during a ceremony at the Gwacheon National Science Museum, marking the celebration of science, technology, and information and communications day.

According to Yonhap News Agency, the strategy to achieve this ambitious goal involves concentrated investments in three pivotal areas: artificial intelligence and semiconductors, advanced biotechnology, and quantum technology. He emphasized that the Republic of Korea aims to lead through innovation and set global standards in these fields, supporting cutting-edge research and fostering strategic international collaborations.
