SEOUL — South Korea is expected to see a range of weather conditions across its major cities this Sunday, with forecasts indicating sunny skies for most regions and heavy rainfall for others.
According to Yonhap News Agency, temperatures will soar, with Seoul expecting highs of 36 degrees Celsius and lows of 27 degrees, under mostly sunny skies but with a 60 percent chance of rain. Similar sunny conditions with occasional rain risks are forecasted for Incheon, Suwon, Cheongju, Daejeon, Chuncheon, Jeonju, and Jeju, although Jeju will likely remain dry without any rain forecasted.
Conversely, Daegu and Busan are set to experience heavy rainfall, with both cities showing a 60 percent chance of rain alongside their warm temperatures. Gangneung and Gwangju will have cloudy skies, with lower chances of rain at 30 percent and 20 percent, respectively. This diverse weather pattern offers a mix of sunny, cloudy, and rainy conditions across the country, reflecting the typical variability of the summer season in South Korea.
