Seoul: The weather forecast for South Korea on Sunday reveals a mix of sunny, rainy, and sleet conditions across its 12 major cities.
According to Yonhap News Agency, temperatures will vary, with the possibility of rain reaching up to 80% in several areas.
In Seoul, residents can expect sunny weather with temperatures ranging from a high of 12°C to a low of 6°C, though there is still an 80% chance of rain. Incheon will experience similar sunny conditions with temperatures between 11°C and 5°C and an 80% likelihood of rain. Suwon, Cheongju, Daejeon, Jeonju, Jeju, and Busan are all expected to see rain, with temperatures ranging from 13°C to 18°C for highs and 6°C to 13°C for lows, each with an 80% chance of precipitation.
Chuncheon and Gangneung are forecasted to experience sleet, with Chuncheon temperatures predicted to be between 10°C and 1°C and a probability of precipitation at 80%. Gangneung will see slightly warmer temperatures from 8°C to 7°C, but with a 90% chance of sleet. On the other hand, Gwangju and Daegu are expected to enjoy sunny weather. Gwangju will have temperatures ranging from 17°C to 10°C, and Daegu from 13°C to 10°C, both with an 80% possibility of rain.
Overall, the weather will be quite varied across South Korea, necessitating preparations for rain and sleet in many regions.
