Stability in Korea Interbank Offered Rates

SEOUL — The Korea Interbank Offered Rates (KORIBOR) remained stable as of 11:00 a.m. today, as reported by Yonhap Infomax. These rates, essential for banking and financial operations, indicate short-term borrowing costs among banks.

According to Yonhap News Agency, the rates today were consistent with those of the previous session across various terms. Notably, the one-week rate stood at 3.50%, the one-month rate at 3.48%, and the two-month rate saw a slight increase from 3.46% to 3.47%. Meanwhile, the three-month rate matched the two-month rate's increase, also rising to 3.47%. The six-month and twelve-month rates held steady at 3.44% and 3.34% respectively, reflecting a stable short-term credit market in South Korea.
